    This very rare Georgian silver vinaigrette was all hand engraved and hand made in Birmingham, England in 1823 John Bettridge This antique sterling silver box measures 1 3/8 inches in length by 1 inch wide and is 3/8 inches deep, it has engine turned engraving to all sides with no signs of wear and cast foliate edges, there is a vacant rectangular cartouche to the lid and it is gilded to the interior. The pierced grille is most unusual with flower and extended leaves…. It is fully and clearly hallmarked to top and bottom and is in very good condition with some scratches to the inside lid… .
